Our Mission Statement
The Putnam County Solid Waste Authority is dedicated to protecting public health and welfare by providing solutions for comprehensive waste collection programs and recycling initiatives. We aim to inspire community pride and responsibility through source reduction, material recovery, and disposal solutions that foster environmental sustainability through public education and outreach.
Monthly Board Meetings
The Putnam County Solid Waste Authority Board of Directors meets on the second Monday of each month at 4:00pm at the office of the PCSWA at 971 WV-34, Hurricane, WV 25526.
